Daffodil Day at Pacific Toyota

Daffodil Day with Pacific Toyota

This week, Miles Group dealerships around the country put their support behind Daffodil Day. In 2023 this took place on Friday 25 August. Daffodil Day is hosted by Cancer Society with a goal of raising funds to help support New Zealanders suffering with cancer.

The team at Pacific Toyota donned yellow clothing (with some taking it a little further!) and took donations to raise funds for Daffodil Day.

The Cancer Society say: “Schools, businesses and everyone in the community can support Daffodil Day – from Wear Yellow days and morning teas, through to braving a skydive or a bold new haircut!”

Cancer Society’s Objectives

  • represent the experience of people with cancer, their whānau, and the wider community to decision-makers to improve cancer outcomes across the continuum for all New Zealanders
  • develop a robust, nationwide information base that presents evidence from research findings and sector trends in a way that is accessible and usable for a variety of stakeholders
  • use health intelligence to inform targeted health promotion and health literacy issues

We’d love you to help us support those affected by cancer by donating here.
