History of the Miles Group

The Miles Group began in 1979 and continues to grow. Founder and Governing Director Bruce Miles combines a passion for the automotive industry with an understanding of the market, bringing over 40 years’ experience.

His instinct for the car business is evident in every aspect of his successful career. Whether it’s selling cars – with experience in New Zealand and England – managing dealerships, or pursuing his involvement in motor racing as a saloon car driver and team sponsor. Bruce continues to lead a hands-on role within the Miles Group, giving the business a strong direction and high standards.

An integral aspect of the Group’s success has been its ability to attract and retain high-calibre staff – some whom have been with Bruce since the very beginning. With a major focus on customer service, the Miles Group delivers some of the best in the industry, from our dedicated Business Development Centre to our highly trained Product Specialists, and our industry-recognised marketing department.
