Toyota Connected Services is coming to New Zealand, enabling users to stay easily connected to their vehicle, both behind the wheel and remotely, for smarter, safer journeys. Toyota Connect will be made available in the new-generation RAV4 first and the Lexus ES Sedan later in the year, with additional models expected to follow.

An exciting development for New Zealand’s most trusted brand and the maker of New Zealand’s top-selling vehicle of 2025, the RAV4, Toyota Connected Services is set to enhance driving experiences and simplify everyday life through a suite of smart technologies that will provide a new layer of driver interaction, control, safety, and security for vehicles.

SOS Emergency Call – connect with a trained agent available 24/7 who can contact emergency services and guide them to your vehicle’s location.
Automatic Collision Notification (ACN) – If your airbags deploy or impact sensors are triggered, ACN alerts the emergency call centre for assistance.
Stolen vehicle tracking – Enjoy extra peace of mind that if your Toyota is stolen, Toyota New Zealand’s emergency call centre can work alongside the police to help locate it.
Staying informed, locking your vehicle, and charge management – the myToyota Connect app allows you to check your vehicle’s location, fuel level, or PHEV battery status. PHEV charging can also be managed in the app, as can remotely locking and unlocking your vehicle. You can also receive alerts if your vehicle’s doors are left unlocked or windows open.
Climate control scheduling – perfect for New Zealand’s ever-changing weather, the myToyota Connect app allows you to start your vehicle remotely, set your ideal temperature, and de-mist windows. You can also schedule climate settings in advance.
Seamless trip planning – Plan your journey in the app and it will send it straight to your vehicle, so your route is ready and waiting when you start your car.
