Next Generation Toyota LC300

Meet the Next-Generation Toyota Land Cruiser

The latest generation of the Land Cruiser 300 stands for quality, reliability, durability, and safety – exactly what you’ve come to expect over the last 70 years. With a few modern additions, of course.

Expected to land in October, the 2021 seven-seater LC300 will have you tackling New Zealand’s rugged terrain with ease this summer. The powerful 4WD rides on 18” or 20” all-terrain tyres with Chrome Metallic rims and will exclusively feature a 225kW, 700Nm 3.3L twin-turbo diesel V6 engine. The latest iteration also makes way for an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission, and with an additional ground clearance of 235mm and a braked towing capacity of 3,500kg, you’ll effortlessly transition from the hills to the lake.

The upgraded LC300 looks and feels more exclusive. The sleek exterior features a rugged and aggressive front end, thanks to the bigger ‘floating’ polished chrome grille and slimmer, sleeker LED headlights. Access via Smart Key Entry and inside you’re met with premium leather upholstery and a Push Button Start. Stay connected with the 12.3” touchscreen infotainment system – with Apple Carplay and Android Auto – and six USB points (two in the front and four in the rear).

Safety is top of mind with all variants offering the full Toyota advanced Safety Sense Suite, designed to help prevent or mitigate collisions across a wide range of traffic conditions. A new addition is the Head-Up Display, helping to keep your eyes on the road. Even better, this is standard across the range.

The 2021 Land Cruiser 300 will appear in a standard VX model, higher-spec VX Limited, and, for the first time, a GR Sport version.

“You cannot really overstate the reputation of the Land Cruiser brand as a tremendously capable off-roader matched to a premium and spacious cabin. These vehicles can really tackle anything, and their reliability is unsurpassed. It’s not uncommon to see 40 and 50-year-old Cruisers still going strong,” Steve Prangnell, Toyota New Zealand General Manager of New Vehicle Sales and Product Planning

The LC300 GR Sport, while only offering 5-seats, will be the only Land Cruiser available in Arctic White. This beast will stand out with Matte Grey alloy wheels, a blacked out exterior trim, and a GR inspired front end design. Performance features of the GR Sport include Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, Adaptive Variable Suspension, four new Drive Mode options (Sport S, Sport S+, Comfort, and Customise), and lockable front and rear differentials.

There are four exterior colours available across the full range: Graphite, Ebony, Eclipse, and Merlot Red. The VX and VX Limited are also available in Crystal Pearl, Silver Pearl, Avant Garde Bronze, and Deep Sea Blue.

We are taking orders now, with delivery of this model expected from October 2021. Get in touch with one of our Toyota Stores to register your interest.
