More Than a Decade Strong: Pacific Toyota Backs Good Neighbour
Driving support to the Bay of Plenty community
The team at Pacific Toyota is proud to support the incredible work of Good Neighbour by providing a fleet of Hilux vehicles (including a Tray-Lux!) to help power their efforts across the Bay of Plenty.
For more than a decade, Pacific Toyota has partnered with Good Neighbour—an organisation that’s deeply valued by the team. Sharing a commitment to environmental sustainability and community wellbeing, Good Neighbour creates practical opportunities for people to give back, support one another, and strengthen the fabric of our neighbourhoods. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to create lasting, positive change in the lives of individuals and communities alike.
Their dedicated team rescues and distributes an average of 660 tonnes of food each year, valued at approximately $4.8 million, through a network of 80 charities. In addition, they operate a kitchen that prepares more than 20,000 meals annually, run youth programmes that teach life skills to at-risk young people, provide work experience opportunities, maintain community gardens, and offer mobile shower and laundry services for people experiencing homelessness.
