Guests got an inside look at one of Supercars’ most exciting teams, met the drivers up close, and walked away with autographs and photos to remember it by before the Toyota GR Supras took to the Ruapuna track.

With the Miles Toyota showroom packed full of excited Supercars fans, Walkinshaw TWG Racing CEO Bruce Stewart (right) and Head of Commercial Andrew Wiles (left) took to the floor for a rare and candid insight into the team – the Toyotas, the drivers, and what makes it all tick. Christchurch’s own Bruce Stewart brought a personal touch to the evening, sharing what it means to bring the Walkinshaw TWG Racing team to his home city for such a landmark moment in Supercars history.

It was then time for reigning Supercars champion Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood to take to the floor, joined by Andrew Wiles. The trio spoke to everything from Toyota’s presence on the Supercars grid, to Ryan’s stunning podium finish the weekend prior, to Chaz’s championship success.
