Miles Toyota continues support of the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust

At Miles Toyota, we’ve proudly supported the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust for over seven years. This partnership goes beyond just cars – it’s about backing an essential service that makes a real difference in our community. They’re out there saving lives every day, and we’re honoured to supply the vehicles that help the organisation run smoothly. Recently, we had the pleasure of delivering two exceptional new Toyota vehicles – a Highlander and RAV4 – to the team. These versatile, dependable SUVs are perfectly equipped to help their work throughout the region.

The Trust received their new cars from Miles Toyota last week, a beautiful shiny new RAV4 and Highlander, both hybrid vehicles which is part of their total electrified mobility strategy and aligns with the Trust and GCH sustainability focus. A huge thank you to Miles Toyota and our ambassador Mark Mills for their continued support of the Trust.

Driving support of the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust

The trust’s ability to reach people in critical situations relies heavily on funding. Our partnership helps ensure their operating equipment is maintained to support their rescue operations.

As our relationship with the Trust has grown, we’ve met countless people who’ve been rescued or know someone who has – everyone has a story. It’s truly rewarding to play a role in supporting this life-saving work.

We’re also proud to assist them through other avenues, reinforcing our commitment to their vital mission. Earlier in the year, a few of our team participated in the Back to Base Challenge, raising nearly $1,000 for the Trust by walking, running, or biking 97 km – the distance from Mt Hutt and Back to Base in Christchurch.

How you can support the Trust

The Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust rely heavily on the support of New Zealanders. With the crew attending over 1000 missions a year (and each mission costing $5,000) – the need for support has never been greater.
