ILAM Toyota Presents Cholmondeley Little Gems Party

ILAM Toyota continues their support for Cholmondeley Children’s Centre in annual fundraising event.

On 6 May, ILAM Toyota presented the Cholmondeley Little Gems Party, a sold-out, record number event to help raise money for the charity. The evening was filled with music from live local band, The Corks, who kept guests on the dance floor until the end of the night. While sipping libations, guests nibbled on standing degustation-style canapes, taking in the grand affair. The event raised over $115,000 on the night.

The Little Gems Party kicked off Cholmondeley’s Annual Awareness Month, which raises money to support Cholmondeley Children’s Centre in continuing to provide free, short-term respite care to Canterbury tamariki aged between 3-12 years of age and its outreach service to whānau. ILAM Toyota has been supporting Cholmondeley’s mission since the early 2000s, providing vehicle and fundraising support.

“We are so proud to have a longstanding relationship with Cholmondeley and be able to support the work they do for our community. Cholmondeley is a unique organisation, and being largely community funded, we feel really grateful to be able to lend a helping hand.”

The team at Cholmondeley worked tirelessly to make sure the event was as eco-friendly as possible and were able to recycle all but two bags of waste from the entire event – an incredible accomplishment!

If you missed out on tickets this year, we encourage you to mark your calendar for Friday 5 May 2023 for the next Cholmondeley’s Little Gems Party.
