Celebrating Jayson McRoberts – A Miles Toyota Club Legend
Jayson from Suburbs RFC has been recognised as a Miles Toyota Club Legend!
Behind every local footy club are passionate people who give their all. At Suburbs RFC, Jayson McRoberts is one of those legends. A true cornerstone of the club, Jayson has been part of Suburbs since childhood, and his impact only continues to grow. From leading the development of their new clubrooms to fundraising for kids’ jackets, and even creating a platform called M.E (Mutual Empowerment), Jayson is the true embodiment of a Miles Toyota Club Legend.
“Jayson has been part of Suburbs rugby since he was a kid. He is currently President of this club, but he goes above and beyond. Jayson spends a lot of his downtime behind the scenes sorting out club activities, fundraisers, and still making it to all trainings. He set up the new clubrooms from scratch, spent all of his own time organising the best space for the club community. Jayson has also designed numerous Jerseys and club shirts, and hoodies. He has worked almost night and day to help provide fundraising for the young kids to have jackets for the season.
During previous seasons, he has also designed a platform called M.E (Mutual empowerment), and this focuses on the club empowering the individual and them empowering the club. Jayson is continuously doing something for Suburbs rugby behind the scenes that he never gets recognised for. Rain or shine, he is out there supporting Suburbs!”
