Miles Kia Announces New Partnership with the Crusaders

  • Miles Kia now sponsors the Crusaders as their official vehicle partner
  • Miles Kia is Christchurch’s official Kia dealership, formerly known as Cockram Kia
  • Crusaders staff will be driving the Kia Sorento, Kia Sportage, and Kia Stonic

Miles Kia are proud to announce a new partnership with the Crusaders as their official vehicle partner, supplying vehicles that include the Kia Sorento, Kia Sportage, and Kia Stonic.

Supporting our local community comes naturally for the team at Miles Kia, so when the opportunity arose to sponsor the Crusaders, it was a no brainer. The partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to excellence, and both Miles Kia and the Crusaders are driven by the pursuit of teamwork, success, innovation, and a desire to be leaders in their respective fields.

“We’re very excited to have Miles Kia on board as our official vehicle partner, they’ve long played an important role in our community and we see so many similarities between our two organisations. This alignment of values lays the foundation for a powerful and harmonious partnership.” – Colin Mansbridge, Crusaders CEO.

“The support the Crusaders give to the community is amazing which we are pleased to be part of and drive them on their journey.

Our Kia brand has always been innovative and continued to look at ways to improve, succeed, and excel. This commitment aligns with the Crusaders, making us fully supportive of their direction and appetite of winning their next Super Rugby title.

The Miles Group have always been active in supporting the growth of rugby in Canterbury. With Miles Kia coming into the fold and partnering with the Crusaders, it’s another way we can assist with the game’s succession.” – Jodie Tait, General Manager, Miles Kia

The Kia Sorento is a 7-seater SUV that offer drivers and their passengers exceptional levels of driving comfort. The Kia Sportage is a medium SUV that has proven incredibly popular with Kiwi families, while the Kia Sportage previously took the number one spot for most popular passenger car in New Zealand. Now joined by a hybrid variant, the Sportage looks to be a contender for that spot once more. Meanwhile the Kia Stonic is a small SUV that is versatile and can handle the needs of its drivers with ease and comfort.

This announcement closely follows the Kia dealership’s brand change from Cockram Kia to Miles Kia. While the business has always been owned by Bruce Miles, the new name change better aligns Miles Kia to the Miles Group of brands while remaining, as always, Christchurch’s home of Kia.
