A New Chapter for Miles Kia | Celebrating Our Refurbished Showroom

Recently, we opened the doors of the newly refurbished Miles Kia showroom for an evening celebrating the people, partnerships and hard work behind its transformation.

The guest list brought together the people who have played a part in the Miles Kia story, from our team and the builders who brought the refurbishment to life, to commercial partners, members of the Crusaders commercial partners network and a handful of valued customers.

As guests arrived, the showroom was transformed with low lighting, a bar and a relaxed atmosphere. Crisp & Vale kept food moving throughout the evening as guests mingled, caught up and explored the newly refreshed space.

The evening included a welcome from Miles Group Director Andre Heyns, who acknowledged the many people involved in bringing the refurbishment together. In particular, he recognised the Miles Kia team, whose commitment, hard work and dedication continue to make Miles Kia what it is today.

He was followed by Justin Benzie, National Sales Manager at Kia New Zealand, who reflected on just how far the Kia brand has come in New Zealand and Miles Kia’s contribution to that journey. He described the refurbishment as a vote of confidence in the future of Kia and in the continued partnership between Kia New Zealand and Miles Kia.

Of course, the vehicles were also a major part of the evening. Guests had the opportunity to explore the latest Kia range throughout the showroom, with the new Kia PV5 electric van attracting plenty of attention. As one of Kia’s newest additions, it offered a fitting glimpse into where the brand is heading next.

The refurbishment itself has created a space that feels distinctly different. Modern, considered and designed around the Kia brand, the new showroom provides a more open and welcoming environment for customers, while giving the vehicles the space they deserve.

The showroom is cleverly divided into two distinct sides. On one, warm timber panelling brings depth, texture and a sense of warmth to the space. On the other, clean white surfaces create a lighter, more contemporary feel. Different in character, but designed to work together.

It’s a subtle nod to the philosophy behind Kia’s design language, and a space that feels distinctly Kia as a result.

More than anything, the evening was a chance to celebrate. A celebration of the work that has gone into creating the new showroom, the people who make Miles Kia what it is, and the relationships that continue to shape the business.

We were proud to share the finished space with so many of the people who helped make it possible.
