Cockram Kia’s Salvation Army Donations
Over the first few weeks of December, our team and Cockram Kia customers gathered donations for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal. After what has been such a tough year for so many people we wanted to give back to our local community, and what better way to do that than through the Salvation Army.
We started collecting donations from the team and customers alike, and soon enough the tree was brimming with Christmas food, gifts for Children and adults, restaurant vouchers, and so much more.
All for a great cause
We were absolutely blown away by the generosity and kindness shown by everyone as the donations flowed in. We received an array of food, gifts for children (especially the 10+ age group that’s typically harder to buy for), hand cream, candles, Christmas-themed goodies, and even restaurant vouchers.
Our sincerest thank you to everyone that donated, your generous support will help those who need it the most this holiday season and we really appreciate your generosity.
Picking up the donations
We had Dee from the Salvation Army pop into the dealership to pick up all the donations. She was blown away by everything we had gathered, mentioning that this year in particular has been tough for many people so these donations were needed more than ever. All the goods donated are now at the Salvation Army HQ, where parents will get to come in and select presents for their children, and a few treats to go under the tree for themselves, too.
Food will be divided into Christmas hampers that will be given to families the week of Christmas.

Support the Salvation Army
Dee from the Salvation Army mentioned that they’re still accepting donations right up until Christmas. If you’d like to support them, you can find more information on their Christmas Appeal here. Once again, we wish to thank everyone that made a donation – your generosity is so appreciated.
