CUPRA Tavascan Electric Vehicle

CUPRA’s Second EV Confirmed for New Zealand

CUPRA’s EV – the CUPRA Tavascan – has been confirmed for the New Zealand market. Following the CUPRA Born (arriving in the latter half of this year), the Tavascan is set to land on Kiwi shores in 2024.

Racy design and powerful performance are the hallmarks of CUPRA vehicles, and the Tavascan delivers in spades. This dynamic model challenges the traditional conventions of an electric vehicle, ready to deliver for the new generation of vehicle enthusiasts.

Similar in size to the CUPRA Formentor, the Tavascan is an AWD medium-size performance-focussed SUV. To say we’re excited about its impending arrival is an understatement.

Derived directly from the Tavascan show car unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 2019, the production-ready Tavascan brings to the market a disruptive and unique vision for an all-electric future, clearly headlining CUPRA’s new design language that will flow through to future models.

The Tavascan is designed to fit outside of the box – and for good reason.
