Recognition at the Volkswagen Dealer of the Year Awards 2024

The Volkswagen Dealer of the Year Awards for the 2024 financial year, covering activity in both 2023 and 2024, were held recently in Auckland, with Miles Continental Volkswagen taking home a finalist nomination and an award for categories related to marketing and our charitable partnerships.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Marketing Finalist

Recognised as a finalist in the acclaimed category of “Commercial Vehicle Best Marketing Campaign of the Year”, Miles Continental Volkswagen was given acknowledgment for their epic Amarok 4WD Launch Experience that took place at Lake Coleridge Station in May 2023 to launch the new Amarok.

The first of its kind for Miles Continental Volkswagen, valued Amarok guests were able to experience what the new Amarok 4WD had to offer on pure New Zealand terrain within the rugged mountain tops of a historic high-country station. Take a watch of the video below to experience through your own eyes why this incredible day garnered the national attention it deserved.

Jemima’s Award Winner 2024

It means a lot to us to have been awarded the Jemima’s Award for 2024.

The Jemima’s Award is named after the remarkable New Zealand teen Jemima Gazley who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Instead of conceding, she fought to raise an incredible $696,420 through her givealittle page in order to raise awareness and funds to support research into DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). We encourage you to learn more about Jemima and the Jemima’s Wish project, along with donating to this worthy cause.

For our part, the award was handed to us for our continued involvement and sponsorship with Rānui House. Rānui House, a part of the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust, aims to provide a home away from home for patients and their family when they are undergoing lifesaving medical treatment for cancer, accidents, and life-threatening illnesses. We are continuously proud to be involved with Rānui House.

This recognition is an immense honour to receive and shows the continued effort that every team member at Miles Continental Volkswagen brings to our company and community.

We’re immensely humbled to be custodians of the Jemima’s Award, and will take great care of it over the following 12 months before returning it to Volkswagen for next year’s awards.

Thank you to Volkswagen and the Gazley family.
