Neighbourhood Support Christchurch Area
Fostering safe, resilient, and connected communities.
We are proud to support Neighbourhood Support Christchurch Area (NSCA) by providing means of transport via the use of two Kia Sportage vehicles, to ensure they can continue their valuable work in supporting our community. “These vehicles have come at just the right time for us, as we have events booked throughout summer. We also go out to the community to help start groups at a steady rate, averaging almost one per week.” Says Elissa Smith Neighbourhood Support – Schools Programme Co-ordinator.
Neighbourhood Support Christchurch Area is a community-led movement that brings people and neighbourhoods together to create safe, resilient, and connected communities. Working alongside various organisations (such as the New Zealand Police, NZ Fire and Emergency, EQC, and Crime Stoppers), they equip neighbourhoods to improve safety and connectedness, prepare for emergencies and support one another to ensure the Christchurch community is a great place to live. In addition, they also share helpful resources and educate people on issues impacting the local area.
NSCA work with a growing number of commercial partners and individuals alike. Whether you’re wanting to make a one-off donation, volunteer your time, or leave a bequest, every bit counts towards ensuring the Christchurch community remains a safe place to live.
